Yes. You'll need to register and verify your identity before placing a bid or making a purchase. Verification is a one-time step - once done, you're set for every future purchase on the platform.
A flat 5% buyer premium (plus GST) is added to the hammer price at checkout. This is the only fee buyers pay - there's no registration fee, no membership, and no hidden charges.
Payment is collected securely through our escrow system within 24 hours of winning a lot. Funds are held in a regulated trust account until the seller confirms the item is ready for collection, then released within 3 business days.
Yes - contact the vendor directly through the listing, or ask us to arrange an independent pre-purchase inspection. We recommend inspecting any item you're serious about, especially for higher-value machinery.
Contact us within 48 hours of collection if there's a material discrepancy between the listing and the actual item. Funds are held in escrow during this window. Our team mediates disputes and, where the listing was genuinely misleading, can arrange a partial or full refund.
Yes. We can source freight quotes from specialist machinery carriers across Australia. You can request a quote at checkout or contact us before bidding if you need a freight estimate first.
Selling
Yes. There are no upfront listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no per-photo charges. You only pay anything if your item sells - and even then, it's the buyer who pays the 5% buyer premium, not you.
Standard listings stay live until they sell, are withdrawn, or you close them. Auction lots follow the auction timeline set by the auctioneer.
Yes. You can list on multiple platforms simultaneously. If your item sells elsewhere first, just withdraw the listing here - no penalty.
Payment lands in your nominated bank account within 3 business days of the buyer confirming receipt. We handle the escrow - you don't chase the buyer.
No. You can sell whether or not you're GST-registered. You'll be asked at listing time whether GST applies to your sale - this flows through to the buyer's invoice automatically.
Yes. Create a dealer account to manage multiple vendors and listings from one dashboard. You get a full accounting ledger, automated invoices and credit notes, and access to the live auction platform - all at no extra cost.
Auctions
Live auctions run on our platform with real-time audio and video from the sale. You bid from any device - desktop, tablet, or phone. Lots are called in order and the hammer falls when bidding stops. The winning bidder pays within 24 hours through our escrow system.
A clearing sale is an on-farm auction of all or most of a property's plant and equipment - typically run when a farmer is retiring or selling up. Lots range from large machinery to hand tools and sundry items.
Yes. Our live bidding platform lets you bid from anywhere in Australia. You watch the auction in real time via video stream and bid with a single click. Freight can be arranged after the sale.
You need a verified AuctionsNOW account. Find the auction you want on the auctions page, click Register, and you're in. Registration is free.
Winning a lot is a binding commitment. Non-payment may result in the lot being re-listed, a ban from future auctions, and recovery of any costs incurred by the vendor. If you have a genuine emergency, contact us immediately.
Account & Verification
Verification protects everyone on the platform - sellers know who's bidding, buyers know vendors are real. It's a one-time step and takes about two minutes.
A working email address and mobile number. Depending on your account type, you may also be asked to provide a driver's licence or ABN for dealer accounts.

No. One account per person. Dealers and agents manage multiple vendors from a single dealer account - you don't need separate logins.
