Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 25 June 2026

You can ask us to delete your AuctionsNOW account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains how, including for accounts created or linked with Google or Facebook sign-in.

How to request deletion

Email admin@auctionsnow.com.au from the email address on your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". So we can locate and verify your account, please include:

  • The name on your account.
  • The email address and/or mobile number you registered with.
  • If you signed in with Google or Facebook, mention which one.

We will verify the request comes from you, then delete your account and associated personal information. We aim to action requests within 30 days and will confirm by email once complete.

Disconnecting Google or Facebook

You can also revoke AuctionsNOW's access to your social account directly:

  • Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove "AuctionsNOW".
  • Google: Google Account → Security → Third-party access → remove "AuctionsNOW".

Revoking access stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete the account you already created with us - email us as above to delete the account and its data.

What is deleted

We delete your profile, contact details, saved listings, alerts, questions and the link to your Google or Facebook account.

What we may need to keep

Where the law requires it, we retain certain records for a limited period - for example transaction, invoice and tax records for completed sales, and information needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. These records are kept only as long as required and are then deleted or de-identified.
